How much wood would Art cut, if Art could cut wood?

Hey inverted cow fans and adoring public! Things are in full swing to get all geared up for winter! The world is still tearing itself apart and somehow we are pulling it all together here. Marianne has started another renovation project, I was helping with some cow guys get the cows in and have got a few loads of wood from the bush. Time is against me now more than ever, but for now the weather is cooperating!

The pile grows! One load at a time!

The guest Bedroom (part one)

Marianne and I were attempting to work out where we can make a guest bedroom. There is a small room off the main bedroom but the floor is almost ready to cave in. We are using it for storage but I think this spring it will have to come out. Floor and all! The alternative was to turn the pantry/office/dump everything here room into a bedroom. The folks are bringing out some of their old bedroom furniture and a bed that neither one likes anymore, as they are continuing to downsize. Marianne has the renovate bug big time and it is keeping her looking at new projects for me to fix. So for now the soon to be guest bedroom is an empty shell. More to come on the next edition of the inverted cow.
First clear out all stuff
stored in storage room
and pile it in the bedroom!
First coat of paint on,
supposed to be antique gold?

Hope UPDATE

Hope, if you remember was the kitten who moved in with us last month. Her health is improving thanks to all the prayers and home remedies and other suggestions. She doesn't know this but she will be visiting the vet at the humane society before the end of the month and she will be fixed. Yea I didn't know she was broken either.  She will also get a complete once over and her shots will be updated and we will look at getting her a tattoo.

Mitza and her are still having issues, But Mitza has issues with everybody, even Midnight, and he has lived with us for several years now. Midnight has adopted Hope as his baby, he apparently has been around kittens before and is quite the poppa cat.  But over all she is adapting to the house here quite comfortably.

I know you just got out of bed and have not made it yet,
But it is soooo warm still and I am just so darn CUTE!

Work and Other stuff

I picked up a bit of a casual job with one of the local cow guys here. Pay is nonexistent compared to what I am used to making, but I will not get too cranky about it. Work, even underpaid work, is better than nothing.

what we started with....
not quite 14 chord yet!
However, here on the farm I am busier than ever attempting to get the wood we need for winter (now that it is officially here) before it snows. That being said it is in the forecast for this evening, but out here you never know. Marianne's assistance paid for 2 chord of wood to be delivered. I still had to cut and she was helping me stack I don't think it was 2 chord we got when it was all stacked up though. I am still attempting to work through the wood that Kyle and I brought out of the woods. I have a couple of loads still sitting back in there and a few loads that can be cut down and pulled out. I have use of the tractor from Kyle for the time being but I have not had any time to put it to work.

we got delivered and the pile of wood from the bush

Kyle also brought over his old skidoo I am going to attempt to get it running so I can pull wood out over the week while he is in school. He wants me to go trapping with him again this year so I expect that I will be spending some time on the skidoo with him. But this year I will not be riding passenger! If looking at dead things is your cup of tea then I think I have his hyperlink in his profile on the about us page.

Someday (hopefully) it will ride again!
Last thoughts,

I have been attempting to get work done online as well. However I have a few more demands on my time than I can think about. I use the facebook games to relax but they can become an time waster as well. I am always needing to keep my internet time short and cut off game times, read the news and chase the almighty elusive customers. I am working on a private blog with the details on some of the things I want to install here on the farm so that once written I can get them off my mind. I also am posting some private things there but it is shared only with people I trust and know. Calgary story, as well as updates to the Kudos page are long overdue and I am attempting to work on both of them as time allows. I did this month remember to add a couple of new affiliate links to the Support the inverted cow page. So please feel free to click the advertisements and if you see anything you like it may work back that they drop a few pennies in my jar.

Not my style perhaps but Marianne Likes it.

I used to play chess and get my butt whooped. Before computers!

I love back country skiing, backpacking and all sorts
of out doors things, These guys have the
gear for out there!
