November Stories from the Cheese Wagon.

Hey Kids!

Wow another 2 weeks went by and somehow I almost missed it. Here at the home of the Inverted Cow life is grinding along well. Winter is keeping it's bite to itself as the temps have been between -15 and +5C  ( sorry I don't speak american temperatures very well.) I have had the chance to start working on some of my "winter projects" that I wanted to look at last year. I have a solution to a storage issue that will involve moving a couple of buildings and some junk out of the way. All in all it is been a very uneventful couple of weeks.

That is it for this week sorry.

HA HA HA PSYCH!
Almost thought you were getting off easy? LOL  guess not!

From the drivers seat!

I always wanted to sit in the front seat!
I can't get any further forward than this one I guess!

I am finally getting some odd runs, first one was "we day". An all day trip into the city for the high school kids. The whole event was so disorganized I was surprised that they managed to pull it off. I have many suggestions for the event organizers. Somehow I get the feeling they would fall on deaf ears at the time. Perhaps after a kid gets killed or seriously injured then someone will fix it.

I have also had an opportunity to spare on another drivers route. It just happens to be the same route that Kyle is on. It also has a teenager named Rylee. He is one of those loud kids who likes to annoy everyone, the regular driver and him have become 'friends' Rylee needs to be scolded on every trip. I stopped the bus and asked him to respect the rules or to tell the others on the bus as to why he thought that endangering their lives was a good thing.

I do have some fun with him though, the one morning he was not on and I broke the news to everyone on board. I told them to please keep the mourning and sorrow to a minimum. They cheered for about a quarter mile. The next time when we dropped him off I had everyone cheer. Half the windows went down and everyone let out a few good cheers. I think he got the hint. I know he is an occasional reader of the Inverted Cow, so I say to him if he is reading this; "I got a phone call about you. Now we can become 'friends' too and you will not like it. I can be as much of an 'uncool' driver as I am a 'cool' one."

Marianne came to get me after work,
She was still wearing her housecoat
as she was not feeling well at the time.

Hope Update,

Hope went into heat! I figured on another 2 months before that happened but all of a sudden there it was: HORMONES!!! Poor Hope did not know what to do her body was going crazy and therefore she was going crazy and taking the rest of the house along with her.  We had several sleepless nights, a few phone calls and the local vet could take her (less than $200) before the end of the week or the SPCA could take her (less than $60) but not until February. Poor Midnight was even attempting to help her with her "problem". He is long ago 'fixed' so no kittens were to be on the way, BUT it was annoying to hear or see them attempt to 'get it on' in the middle of the kitchen floor! 3 sleepless nights and Hope had a doctors visit, the afternoon she came home and now has a shaved belly and no more heat problems. Art can sleep again!

Hope fresh back from the Doctor.
She got outfitted with a new collar,
and became SATELLITE CAT
Midnight hiding from the Satellite cat!

Last Thoughts.

Kyle is out trapping again. Somehow I have become the helper again. I bagged him 2 of the pests here on the yard and he caught a weasel plus the other day we got a fair sized beaver. I attempted to get a video of him removing it from the trap but the lighting was so poor that it became a dark screen with him talking in the background. it was very poor quality. I am thinking a proper camcorder may be on the boy's christmas list, one for me too!

These guys have a selection of everything,
inversion beds to tennis ball launchers and everything in between.
