March: Stupidity continued!

Hey Kids.

Yep it is time for another blog. Why? Well, why the heck not!

Another fine tropical day here in paradICE

only minus 20 something degrees out
do not forget sunscreen !

Winter is still here! It will never go away! Looking back over the last couple of years, I  love the blog for that, at about this time every year the winter is showing signs of subsiding. At the time of this writing we have minus 20 degree days, the forecast keeps predicting plus temperatures but they keep moving the day.  Sort of a "it will get warm soon" thing just 'soon' is not specified. I have been keeping busy by annoying the chickens, and watching games on You Tube. Yes that is how flippen boring it is here in the winter, even playing through two new games and replaying countless others and I have to watch someone else play games rather than go out and buy them. That gets very expensive very quickly, so watching how the game plays is better than nothing. So far I have figured out that IF they ever get sim city 2013 working I may buy a copy. It is online only play and that makes it more interesting for me as it is no longer "do it all yourself" but everyone in a 'region' pulls together. I sat through a play through of SPORE, That game looks FUN. Not particularly challenging but fun. Also I have watched the Starcraft campaigns, I love the story line but I think I will wait for the box set before I think of buying it. XCOM was the last game I will ever buy without checking a play through out again. Damm thing is buggy and not worth the cash paid. If you want to get it wait until it hits the bargain bin in another couple of months. At least then you will not feel bad when you use the cd as a beer coaster.

Yea you could say cabin fever is setting in but really it is the fact that to do anything I must first shovel through 2 feet of snow and then hack whatever it is out of the ice, all in minus twenty degree temps. What I would not give to play in the garden again.

It is so damm cold there is snow forming IN the fireplace!

ok not quite but I did bring this log in a few hours
earlier and it still has snow stuck to it.

Stupid people fun!

As most of you know, by now, I have been charged with making death threats. Apparently I am planning to do some dastardly deed to one of the schools out here. I am still waiting to find out what I am supposedly planing and to what school.  Anyhow the next round of kangaroo court was on the thirteenth. I went there they had some papers, told me the lawyer was not coming and everything is bounced over to next month. At least this time they actually had me on the docket. perhaps next time I will finally be able to find out who I am supposed to be threatening to do what to.

Here is my take on the whole thing: Some helicopter parent read someplace that one of the school shooters in the US blogged about it before hand. That makes every person who has had any dealings with a school and who blogs an instant mass murderer. Although I am certain that several million bloggers would disagree with that logic, this appears to be the threat that I pose.

Needless to say I am still waiting to find out who my accuser really is so I can sue their sorry ass back to the stone ages. They will be in so much trouble after I am done that any other stupid person out there who does the same thing will have to pay royalties. So far this is costing me more than I care to put down on this blog but lets just say my plans would have included things that would have been good for a heck of a lot of the people out here and the local economy in ways that they cannot think of.

People forget I think BUSINESS. You see a run down old dump on the side of a roadway with a 40k price tag  I see a potential 24 hr a day business that could provide about 20 to 50 full time jobs, plus spin off employment. In addition can bring potential income into the area. All those plans are on hold indefinitely  or at least until I finish with the lawsuit.

On the plus side it brings me no small amount of glee to see McMunn and Yates running advertisements every week, in every publication, screaming for workers. I am still waiting to find out why he fired me, but if he cannot have a reason that is good enough when my lawyer asks him, the lawsuit for wrongful dismissal is on! Oh yea I am going to become the interlake's worst nightmare. Some people are going to understand why I say, "do not mess with the longhair!"

Last thoughts,

Well actually I have little last thoughts to add, Kyle and I did alright on the trapping this year. But not nearly as well as we would have preferred. The cold and the issues with the gas freezing in the skidoo's fuel lines did not help much. The Chickens are getting BIG If the ground appears before they are ready to lay eggs I have to hustle my ass to get a coop and pen ready for them. I need to net the whole thing off because of the eagles and owls we have here.

Who is watching for your chickens!

Stay warm kids!

Cheers! C[_]

  3. Yea we did alright this winter for the trapping. If only this snow would bugger off so we could get out and get some spring muskrat and beaver to keep the cheque climbing for the next fur auction in May......
