July Back to normal?

Hey Kids.

Well after some prodding I finally decided to get off my lazy butt and do another post. I know, I am still is awe that some people actually want to read whatever nonsense my twisted mind comes up with. So here it is for the last month and a half.....

Chicken Tails:

Well shortly after my last post I went out to the coop on a Monday morning and found almost every chicken dead. It looked like a cheap Hollywood horror flick for chickens. One was totally disemboweled another had her head ripped off and thrown across the cage. One had her neck broken and one rooster was dead without any apparent trauma. I was left with 2 roosters and one hen. I kept working somewhat on building the chicken coop. It took some looking but I found a large hole ripped into the netting covering the cage so it looks to be the work of an owl.

I left Penny, (the chicken) in with Salt and Pepper (the twin roosters). Within a week they had ripped the feathers out of her back, so I bit the bullet (so to speak) and brought the cage back indoors and put poor Penny back inside it. She now gets a daily carry out to a little run I made in the trees, loads of handling, tons of pets and love. She is healing quite well but still appears to be in mourning.

Almost looking good again

The two roosters are getting all the fresh air and exercise they can handle. Starting this month they will be getting a little extra food, then in another couple of months they have a date with a bullet and a roasting pan.

Almost looking FOOD again

Beaver Tails (aka trapping with Kyle)

As many of you know I go trapping with Kyle, He tends to post about it on his YouTube channel World Wide Outdoors . Most years I just trap for the fun of it, but this year he thought to "share" in the profits. Well my "share" did not even cover the money I spent on the bike repairs or the fuel I bought so I am still doing this for fun I guess.

He did also, however, pay for me to go in and get my restricted firearms permit. It was funny he passed the test with 95% and I had 97%  there was no instruction, just a test.  The instructor then went to take his money and found out Kyle is a minor and said "sorry kid comeback in 4 more years."  He was heartbroken, I laughed.

Homecoming

In other good news Marianne finally got the boot from the two faced slime bag womanizer that she ran off to. She came back home and now we are making things right. There are some serious open wounds and some real trust issues to deal with but time will heal that which was broken.

So if you know Marianne she really needs a big hug and some compassion at the moment. Snide remarks, "helpful" advice, jibes jabs and every thing else can be sent to me for later delivery and editing.

Right back where she belongs
Home, on the computer.

Finally A NEW CAR

Yes shortly after Marianne came home I was finally able to go and kick tires on a few vehicles for myself. Thanks to everyone who "helped" and offered to help. (read James 2:16 for understanding)

We found a vehicle that is in need of some love, a new muffler and a serious car wash, and some minor body rust. The price of the vehicle was low enough to warrant the added costs of  the repairs.

Oh yea LOADED with everything

So after the weekend I will be taking another trip into the city with a car materials shopping list, for all the things that need fixing on it. Then it is a trip into Calgary to finally deal; with the two faced piece of crap womanizer who I warned to not mess with another mans wife. The problem is, I had to resist the urge to not put a bullet into his head when he hurt me last time. It was because of the possibility that I would hurt Marianne that I did not, now I have no such restrictions. (Being sociopathic is the reason I moved away from assholes in the first place)

Other Assholes and Issues

Speaking of people who get my dander up, I am still in the market for a lawyer to sue the pants off  of my former employers and the lying slimeball incompetent micromanagers for slander, defamation, wrongful dismissal, and whatever else they can come up with. So if anyone knows a lawyer who wants to get a pocket full of cash please send him my way.

Back on the farm

Other things that are happening. I have been having a nonstop fight with the lawnmowers in a desperate attempt to get the yard cut. I fix one thing something else goes wrong. I replaced the belt on little red riding mower and a belt guide breaks, replace belt and something else goes wrong. Four belts this year and counting, Not amused. Why they do not make lawnmowers with chain and gears I will never know.  I melted the head off of the weed wacker and apparently have the "chickens tooth" of weed wackers. Meaning that no one has ever thought of hearing about this one.

Fresh from the yard I present to you...
WILD STRAWBERRIES!

That still sounds like an advertisement for
an all girl 80s metal band!

I also ordered the building materials for my greenhouse and chicken coop from the good people at Home Builders in St Laurant. They messed up the order, did not process my order the first time, took a couple of weeks to deliver it to me and then forgot the lumber for my foundation. $1100 worth of lumber sitting on my lawn for the last month now and still no sign of my materials so I can start the build (I wanted it finished by August not still sitting on my lawn). So I highly recommend that for all your building needs do not go to them.
Here is Hope Pretending she is a chicken

Mitza pretending she is a sunbeam

And Midnight pretending he cares.

Final thoughts

As for why I am posting so irregularly and not on facebook much anymore is because of Minecraft. Yes I am one of the ten million plus idiots that bought that seriously addictive game. Save yourself now before you get addicted to the sounds of building and breaking blocks.

I made the mistake of allowing Marianne to play for a few minutes one day and now I have to fight her for the computer! If you have any mercy in your hearts please help us. We are in desperate need of a new ISP, Nordenbros, and Explorenet, is a thief and a crook, We pay over 70 bucks a month for the slow no speed ISP and he offers faster and better internet for half the price. But Pay through the ass if you want to upgrade! Netset (who I do not know who they are affiliated with) needs a $3500 tower to get signal here. So I need to decide if to yell at Nordenbros and fight with the thief I know or to fight with another that I do not. We also need another computer for Marianne, her laptop is grunting on its last legs and my "new" computer is laggy and cheap like all HP products.

Assuming I am not in the clink for first degree aggravated manslaughter, will talk to u next time.
Cheers C[_]

  1. Hi, Art & Marianne.

Wonderful news we prayed to hear. I never stopped believing. You just needed time to be ready for her glorious return.

John's inheritance should be here in 1-3 months. We are retiring. He hopes to see you after that time--let us say Christmastime.

    Bye, John & HeatherAnn.

  3. Hey Art!
Been waiting for days now to see a new cow post!

There has not been one, therefore I am now saying you must make a new cow post in the next couple days! The winter preparations can take a couple hour break for your fans!

Interested to know how things are going for you and Marianne on the farm and how the chickens are doing.... if you haven't had chicken soup yet ;)
