June, The Days of Thunder, umm thunderstorms

Hello again Inverted Cow friends!

The last two weeks have blended into a monotony of working, fighting with the garden, the grass, and dealing with the nonstop thunderstorms.

I know, Normally I have tons of stuff to talk about but, really, working sucks all the time to adventure out of life. I love my job but honestly having to work sucks.

Anyhow; Having a paycheque is going to make some long awaited changes happen. But I apologize for having little to talk about.

Thunderstorms

This last two weeks have been a non stop series of thunderstorms. I have attempted to get some of it on video. I missed some of the best storms because I was at work. We were under a tornado watch for a while there as well. No luck on getting any tornado footage for the storms and most of the lightning shots came out alright. I made a video of some of the better shots I was able to get. Hope you enjoy it.

Old red is dead

Yes finally I have given up completely on restoring ol' red. I chewed the gear off of two starters in my last attempts to get it to run. For whatever reason it no longer wants to work and is no longer worth the efforts to keep it working. That being said I was offered a deal on another rider lawnmower. I introduce you to Replacement Red! (see the summery video for the intro) WARNING Laughter may ensue!

It works that is all that matters. The yard is starting to look normal again, if it ever quits raining for more than a few hours or so I may even get all caught up!

Last Thoughts

Kyle is almost finished school. He too is working with one of the local cow guys. He has a impressive shopping list of goodies he wants to get for next winter's trapping season.

Midnight and Hope are adapting to the outdoors, even Mitza is venturing outside every now and then. Hope is learning to become a mouser...(see video for more)

The garden is attempting to grow, even though the rain is attempting to flood it.

Well that is it for this edition, Hope you enjoy the videos.

Cheers C[_]

  1. Ready for more cow! Stopped by to see if there was a new post, but I guess it's still with the creative genius in editing :)
